History Lesson - (Don't Forget To) Breathe - Crank! Records

In the last year with this blog I have featured a few bands or CDs that are sacred to the emo genre of the late 90s/early 2000s. This compilation released by Crank! Records in 1997 featured many emo bands including The Promise Ring, Mineral, Christie Front Drive, Silver Scooter, Fireside, Boys Life and Knapsack. It was a who's who of the current scene and spawned countless fans, bands, careers, Crank! Records and in turn we got Pete Wentz, so I'm not sure who won.

Regardless, an amazing compilation and personally one of my favorite.
