Read More“I wrote these lyrics shortly after moving 6 hours away from home. I lived in the upper peninsula of Michigan my whole life, spent most of my time with my dad, and worked in the family business. Then I moved to Lansing, and that was my first step in making a life of my own. I stopped seeing my family every day and it's harder for us to keep in touch now, but I still get an occasional update on how they're doing. It's good to know they're okay without me, but I wish I could spend more time with them before they're gone. This song is a reflection on that, how I'm afraid of what I'm missing out on, and how terrifying it is to know I might not have the chance to see some of those closest to me again. This one's for my brother, Duke.” – Tades Sanville, vocals
