Don't Miss the "Wait, you really did want to hear those old songs, huh?" Tour!

The Get Up Kids and Saves the Day are touring again to take money from the late 20s/early 30s segment for ONE last time. At least this time when you yell "Mass Pike" you won't get a scowl from Matt Pryor. As the band proceeds to play something from "On A Wire", an album that is awesome and now that we are older we get that. But before, we were younger, without kids, a crappy job and actually had time.

Saves the Day always played the jams but now it's just Chris so it's a little hard to feel "Shoulder to the Wheel" when he has been the only one driving it for so long. Alas, I will probably drag myself out to this show to once again scream along before both these bands ride off into the sunset. I wish bands like this realized a lot sooner that the fans want to hear the old songs. We love your new album and the new direction you went into but don't give us crap when we yell a surefire jam.
